In a very short time we will be ready to take one of my friends’ boat back to the water, but unfortunately the one who is now the president of the jetty where we used to dock the boat has rented our place to another. This seemed like a complete betrayal to us since we had been in the same square for four years and at least he could have asked us if this year we were going to rent the square instead of doing it behind our back. Which tells us what kind of person he is, a pesetero who only cares about money instead of looking good with the usual clients. Hopefully we find another jetty to dock the boat because if I tell you the truth, we don’t want to see this guy again.
With all that we have worked to be able to have the boat ready to be used this summer, this news has not been good for us, but we continue working to improve the boat so that each year it looks better and is more comfortable for us. This year as an improvement we have reinforced the floor, which in some areas was too soft and we have put more fiberglass and also my friend has bought a floor that simulates wood so that in this way the floor is even better. Although we still need to paint the part of the hull that goes under the water, and to do that we have to know if we have a place to leave the boat docked because that paint must be applied a day or two before lowering the boat into the water. We need to buy some Nuanced Cord to see if it’s useful for an invention we’ve been thinking about but don’t know if it’s going to work for us.
I don’t know if in the end we will find a new place to dock our boat, but what I do know is that I don’t think I will ever go to the beach again, because with the nonsense of not allowing smoking on the beach they have ruined the charm of the beach.
